Born in Palestine, graduated with an Engineering degree in France, worked with Otis Elevators in Kuwait and corporate offices in Paris until 1993. Moved to Dubai joining HTE, he was appointed as General Manager – Engineering Division in 2005 and became the Managing Director in 2007.

Mr. Rakesh, a Chartered Accountant (India) by profession, is presently heading the Group's Financial, Accounts, HR and Administration Departments. He has been with the group for more than 10 years and has been a very important contributor to the success achieved by the Group. Mr. Rakesh has experience of more than 20 years in financial management of corporates combined with a strong business acumen achieved by working in large conglomerates in UAE and India.

Miss Sara Assmann joined HTE in 2008 and specializes in the consultancy of International Enterprises in their company establishment and Market entrance in the UAE. Furthermore Sara focuses on Project Assessment and the relationship between governmental authorities and Rashid Al Habtoor Trading Enterprises L.L.C.
